game two days later against Soton so lanzini to come on last 30, same for carroll.....starting them too much of a risk for me although not sure id start carroll anyway

I see no point in playing AC, we have yet to win this season when he starts. Valencia in for Jelavic and Lanzini in for Antonio........ the rest same as.

I think Bilic has a bit of a problem with playing Valencia up front on his own. His style of play involves the use of creative footballers behind a target man center forward. So I dont think we will see either a 4-4-2 or a 4-5-1 with Valencia up top.
The reason it works so well with Sakho is that he holds the ball up well like a target man, but is able to put himself about.
Shame really. but I guess we will have to get used to Carroll on his own, or Jelavic attempting to use the force to control the ball that seems to be ever accelerating away.

Valencia is the closest thing we have to Sakho in the squad so I think he needs an extended run in the team, at CF. Goalscoring record is good at International level and has the pace to cause teams problems.
Lanzini to be used off the bench. Starting him is too much too soon imo

Kouyate was shocking yesterday, I can forgive players for a bad game if they try but he was simply jogging around.

Sakho is out for a number of games, I'd let VALENCIA play up top, give him that run of games he needs. He'll prove he is one of our better players.
So many dislike him due to the value we paid. He's shown glimpses and agree not enough to date. Injuries got in the way this season. I genuinely believe he will be an exceptional player for us, playing in his correct position, fit and having a run in the team.

Agree with you about kouyate, not been great this season imho but he gives you that ability to carry the ball from deep, I think to many more performances like yesterday's and then he's out.
